Congratulations to Killashee U16 boys table tennis team who defeated Newtowncashel in the final on Friday last. Well done to Luke Lisle, Craig Gorman and Patrick Kenny and we wish them every success in the Leinster qualifiers which takes place in June. The annual sports day will be held on Saturday, 2nd May at the football pitch, Killashee at 12 noon. Track and field events will be held for boys and girls from U-8 to U-16.

Admission €10 which includes admission, race card and entry into a raffle for a prize to the value of €100. Fundraising: Killashee Tidy Towns Committee is hosting a stand at the forthcoming Car Boot Sale in Flancare Park on the June Bank Holiday weekend. Not only will this help with our fundraising efforts, it also helps the environment by allowing others to re-use items you no longer require. We will take unwanted gifts, CD’s, books, small household items, bric a brac, toys, and small tools. These can be dropped into The Chestnut Tree any evening between 6-9pm.
