Presentations were made to Paul and Marett Brady, Gavin and Mairead Doyle and Sean and Linda McManus who were married during the year and to the players who were part of the Cavan Junior All Ireland winning team Ciaran Brady, James and Peter Morris. Dog’s: We have received numerous complaints from members of the public with regard to Dogs fouling the footpaths around the town. Most of these comments are unprintable as people are outraged at this and feel that dogs should be kept under control. With all the work being done each year to improve our position in the Tidy Towns Competition it is sad to see the footpaths so dirty. We appeal to Dog Owners to please, please take responsibility for your pet and keep our town clean and tidy.
