G.F.C. Lotto results The draw was held on Saturday, 27 September and the numbers drawn on the night were 4, 11, 18, and 25. There was no Jackpot winner and the four winners of €50 each were Dympna Brennan, Michael Kelleher, Drumhaldry, John O’Malley and Tommy Hanrahan. Next week’s draw will be held in the Masterson’s Bar on 4 October 2014 when the Jackpot will be €2,100. Those in charge of the draw will be Rory Harte, Eamon Dolan and Killian Ward.

Gallant 15km Challenge
The 11th annual Gallant 15km Challenge in aid of St Christopher’s Hospice Cavan takes place Saturday, 25 October 2014. Main sponsor is MacManus Pharmacy Cavan. People can walk, run or cycle the 15km from Cavan to Cornafean or choose the smaller course of Ballinagh to Cornafean. Over the previous ten years the Challenge has been an outstanding success raising €289,000 for this wonderful cause.
