Congrats to Brendan Quinn the winner of the Easter Hamper in Smith’s Gala and thanks to Niall & Catherine for their generosity once again in sponsoring the hamper and to everyone who supported us in buying a ticket, this was a valuable contribution to our fundraising efforts. Some of you will have received a copy of our Newsletter that has been circulated around the village in the Shops, Pubs and in the Church on Sunday. The purpose of our newsletter is to give some general information on our work and to appeal for assistance in caring for our village. It’s a comprehensive document well worth reading, so if you get the chance, pick up a copy and see how you can contribute any one of a number of simple tasks that will help to make a big difference to the appearance of Newtownforbes. Forthcoming Events: How to Install a Water Butt - Wed 21st May 11 am and Composting Demonstration -Thursday 22nd May 7pm - Both Events at rear of Parish Hall. Everyone welcome.
