County Champions

County Champions

Well done to our U-16 Barry’s girls who recently were crowned Division 2 County Champions after a very exciting encounter played out at Croghan.

This was a spirited display by our girls and they had to fight hard to achieve this victory, but from Rebecca Cox in goals, right up to the forward line, all put in a huge effort to achieve this victory. Well done to Peter and his backroom team for all their good work. We will have a full report in next weeks issue.

Traffic flying through village

The volume and speed of traffic is of major concern. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic and cyclists in the region and all motorists etc. need to travel with caution through the area.
