Welcome: Welcome to the new North Longford notes. I have taken over the Dromard notes from Willie Healy and will combine them with the Colmcille notes into the North Longford notes as was in the past. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Willie Healy for his dedication to providing highly informative and interesting notes for the area over the last eighteen months and to wish him the best as he takes a well deserved break. I hope to be able to do justice to his work in my own notes. Anyone wishing to have notes included in this segment should send them to me at northlongfordnotes@gmail.com or contact me at 0879254868. The deadline for submission is 6pm at the latest on Sunday evenings. Your co-operation in this will be greatly appreciated. Please note that the order in which pieces appear in the paper will correspond to the order in which I receive them throughout the week. As always comments and feedback will be very welcome. I look forward to working with the entire community.
