“Sive”: The third and final staging of “Sive” by John B. Keane will be on Saturday 16th of March in the, Aurora Hall, starting at 8.00pm. Response so far has been very positive with large crowds really enjoying the performances. Booking is advised on 087-9022804 but you can also come early and pay at the door.

Baby Boy: Congratulations to Lisa Casey and Brendan Quaine on the birth of a baby boy last week. Lisa is a daughter of Vincent and the late Bernie Casey, Barrickaboy and brendan is son of Brendan and Caroline, Garrycam. We hope baby Ben and Lisa are doing well.

Inny Anglers: Results of Inny Anglers lotto draw held in Casey for a jackpot of e1,800. Numbers drawn were 9,14,22 and 28. There was no jackpot winner. Special draw winners were Catherine O’Neill and Jonh Joe Keenan each e40. This weeks draw takes place in Mitchell’s for a jackpot of e1,050.

Walking Club: This Satuirday March 16th the walking group will meet in Legan at 10.00am for their weekly walk. All welcome

Creche Open Day: Naoi Rath Re Legan are delighted to invite you to an open day on Saturday 13th April from 12.00-2.00pm. Enrolling now for September 2013 free pre-school year. “The Joys of Motoring”: Congratulations to Liam Butter, Newport who won the County Final of Scor with his recitation “The Joys of Motoring” by Christy Duffy, and on Saturday night last he beat strong opposition to progress to the Leinster final which will take place in Ballymore, Co. Westmeath on Easter Sunday. We wish him the best of luck.

G.A.A.: Results of lotto draw held on Monday 4th March in Mitchell’s for a jackpot of e6,250. Numbers drawn were 5, 6, 8 and 25. There was no jackpot winner. Match three winners of e50 were Dylan Boylan and Gerry Burke. This weeks draw took place in Connaughtons, Rathowen and results will be published next week
