Carrickedmond

Congratulations Justin: Congratulations to Justin Mc Guire who came in third place last Saturday night in the All Ireland final of the All-Ireland Schools Talent Search competition which took place in the Helix theatre Dublin and which was recorded on the night for RTE television.
This was a great achievement by Justin in this competition as back in October 2012 the competition started off at county level throughout Ireland with 3200 hopeful competitors. Justin who was representing his school Ballymahon Secondary school danced his way through the county, Leinster and All-Ireland semi-final heats to reach the All Ireland final itself and throughout the competition he got tremendous support from his school, his family his friend’s people from the parish and surrounding areas and from people throughout the County of Longford and Westmeath. Justin performed a dance which he choreographed himself entitled “A Lovely Madness” and the competition adjudicators on the night Keith Duffy, Paul Walsh, Lucia Evens and Michael O Halloran gave him a high mark for his entry brining him in third position and when the chairperson of the adjudicating panel Keith Duffy announced Justin as third place winner there was great cheering and celebration in the Helix Theatre where he had up on 100 supporters on the night. On his journey throughout the competition Justin also raised an amount of money for the charity CHILDLINE and again he would like to thank everyone who was so generous and gave him money for this national charity. The full recording of the show which is hosted by Brian Ormand can be seen on RTE1 television on Sunday next St Patrick’s day at 3:55pm.Well done Justin and continued success with your dancing career.
