Annaduff/Scotland Marriage: Congratulations to Joseph (Joe) Beirne, Drumgildra son of Anne and Peter Beirne on his Marriage on Saturday last to Cara McGregor, Edinburgh,Scotland daughter of Gordon and Kathleen McGregor in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumsna with reception afterwards in the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon. 
The Celebrant was Fr. John Wall. Music by Eimear and Andrew Reynolds, Rooskey. We wish Joe and Cara many years of happiness.

Annaduff lose: Annaduff were well beaten 0-11 to 1-1 by Bornacoola in the Shield in Annaduff on Saturday with Annaduffs only scores coming from a Niall Cox goal in the 6th minute and a Sean McNabola point in the 48th minute. Niall Cox, Matty Cox, Karl Foley and Francis McNabola were best for a poor Annaduff. Best for the Bors were Olly Vaughan and Damien Moran. Golden Age Meeting: Golden Age Meeting in Drumsna Community Centre on this Wednesday March 13th at 11am.

Bible Study: Bible Study with Rev. Bill Atkins takes place each Tuesday during Lent in Drumsna Community Centre from 11am to Noon. All are welcome.

60th Birthday: Congratulations to Denis ( Denny)McGuire, Augha, Rooskey who celebrated his 60th in style in the kon Tiki on Saturday night.

Engagement: Congratulations to Orla Beirne, daughter of Anne and Peter Beirne, Drumgildra on her engagement to Gerard Moffatt, son of Sean and Dympna Moffatt, Dromod.

Gathering Date: Looking for past pupils and their descendants of Annaduff National School . Come home and meet your old friends or foes.Send out the word and ask them to be here on 27th July 2013.Friday Evening kicks off with a Ceili in Annaduff Community Centre. On Saturday, there will be Sports BarB-Q and a general get together. On Sunday there will be Service in St.Ann’s Church and Mass possibly on the Mass Rock followed by Historical Tour of Dromod and Drumsna. The afternoon’s entertainment in Drumsna Community Centre will have a nostalgic flavour with many surprises.

New Arrival: Congratulations to Maria and Tony Bohan, Dromod on the birth of a baby girl called Emily.

Parish and G.A.A Lotto: At the draw held in Cox’s of Dromod, there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 4,11,16,21. The 50 Euro winner was Aidan Doyle, Taish, Drumsna. The 25 Euro winners were Betty Harte, Aughamore, Niall Lyons, Dromod, Niamh Burke, Kilmore, Kyla Faughnan, Corduff. The next draw takes place on Sunday night next in McLoughlins’s of Drumsna with a Jackpot of 4,000 Euro.

Family Festival Day: The Annual Family Festival Day takes place on Sunday 5th May. All the usual attractions including a 5km Fun Run.Festival launch in Cox’s on Friday 8th March. Music by Fergal McGill.

James Gill Fundraiser: Fundraiser for the James Gill cancer Fund will be held in Cox’s Streakhouse Bar, Dromod on Friday April 5th starting at 9.30. Music by Nando and Shandy. Admission Optional. James is a son of Declan and Geraldine Gill and a grandson of Mary and P.J. Gill, Drumsna.
