BAKE SALE: A bake sale will be held in Cloontagh National School on Friday next 22nd March at 11 o’clock. All welcome and your support will be greatly appreciated.

COMMUNITY GAMES: Killashee Community Games news. This week was a very successful week for the children of Killashee in community games competition. Congratulations to all those who took part in the county table quiz which was held in Edgeworthstown on Thursday night last. Killashee had two teams taking part. Team A was Emer Tyrell, Aoife Kavanagh, Annmarie Murphy and Rian Cox who finished in second place with 83 points. Newtowncashel won the quiz scoring 84 points and we wish them every success in the next round. Team B was Clodagh Kiely, Cait Kiely Matthew Jordan and Dylan Farrell and they scored 78 points. We done especially as everyone on this team are underage for this competition again next year.

CONGRATULATIONS: to sisters Clodagh and Cait Kiely who were competing in the county swimming competitions on Saturday last. Both girls won bronze medals in their respective races. Well done girls.

RAFFLE: Tickets for the Easter Egg raffle are selling well at the minute. The draw takes place during Easter week so all winners will have their Easter Eggs before Easter Sunday. Tickets cost 2 euro each and all support is greatly appreciated.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION: The annual church gate collection in aid of Community Games will be held next weekend with collection taking place in Killashee and Clondra. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

FIRST CONFESSIONS: for all the children in the parish who are preparing for First Holy Communion took place on Thursday evening last. Well done to all involved.
