LOTTO: The numbers drawn in Kenagh GAA Lotto for Sunday March 10th were 5, 7, 10, 22. There were four match three winners Majella McQuaide Moydow had two entries, Cyril Farrell Lislea, Diana Blackweils c/o Dara McGann all get twenty euro each.

COMMUNITY GAMES: Art results 1st Ellen Montgomery ; 2nd Aine Dalton ; 3rd Aoibhin Kelly. Thanks to everyone who attended and also to Mary Farrelly for judging the competition. Cross country results 1st Dylan Horkan Boys under 13 won 1200 metres; Jack Paterson 2nd Boys over 500 metres; Jamie Byrne under twelve 500 metres; Kevin Byrne eleventh boys under twelve 500 metres. Best of luck to our swimmers and all involved in the talent , handwriting and choir. The county finals of those events take place over the next few days. The sympathy of the club is extended to the family of the late Barney O’Boyle who passed away last weekend.

EASTER FAIR: St Dominics NS Parents Association Easter Fair. Our annual and only fundraiser, the Easter fair takes place this coming Sunday , March 24, 2013 in St Dominics Community Centre Kenagh and all are welcome. The fair will take place between 2pm and 4pm and promises to be a fun-filled afternoon for all the family. There will be face painting, raffles, obstacles course, nail bar, games, an egg hunt (weather permitting and many stalls. The egg hunt fun which begins at 3pm sharp, is limited to the first 100 entrants and will cost 1 euro per child. The community centre will be open after Mass on the evening of Saturday 23 March for stall setup or to drop off donations. If any parents/ guardians are interested in helping out at the event, could they please contact one of the individuals listed below. Please come along and support this great community event as it is our only fundraiser during the year and all monies raised are used to fund events etc for the children attending the school. LECTURE: There will be a lecture and slide show under the auspices of Wetlands Heritage Ireland in Cooneys Hotel Ballymahon on this Thursday night March 21st at 8pm.The name of the talk, will be “How the land was used after the boundaries were drawn up”. Refreshments will be served at interval and afterwards. Speaker on the night will be Paddy Egan and all are invited to attend.
