FEAST OF ALL SAINTS: Next Thursday 1st November is the feast of All Saints and is a holy day of obligation. Masses in Mohill on Wednesday evening at 8pm and on Thursday morning in Eslin at 9am,Gorvagh 9.30am and Mohill 10.30am,Friday is the first Friday. Mass 10am and 8pm.The sick and housebound will be attended. Fr Sean will make his calls on Thursday.

WEDDING BELLS: We wish to add our congratulations to the many received by Hughie Doyle and Teresa O’Connor. Treanmore,Mohill who were married in Fenagh Church last week following the ceremony a reception for family and friends was enjoyed at the Commercial Hotel Ballinamore.

MOHILL GAA LOTTO: The numbers drawn on the 22nd October were 5,15,21,29.There was no jackpot winner. Lucky dip winners are as follows 1st 70 euro Pascal McKeon,Drumdoo,Mohill; 2nd 40 euro Mary McDermot Mohill; 3rd 20 euro Tony Feely Mohill. The draw on Tuesday night 30th October was in Gordons Main St with the jackpot at 12000 euro.

PEGGIE O’CONNOR (BOHAN): It is with genuine regret I learned of the death of Peggie O’Connor Stillorgan Dublin and Dromod whose unexpected death on the 20th October 2012 has caused widespread regret to her beloved family and friends. Sadly Peggie’s husband Ben died many years ago. RIP. Peggie was born in Dereen Mohill. She was a lovely lady , a wonderful wife mother sister neighbour true friend who will be fondly remembered but sadly missed. Our sympathies are with her dear family, daughters Joan Helen John grandchildren and extended family.
