Loch Gowna

Death: Shock and sadness was cast over the area when news broke of the untimely death at a young age of Noel Ellis, Farrangarve, Arva at the James Connelly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, on Friday June 1. Noel was a very popular person with always a smile on his face and was held in high esteem in the locality where he transacted his business of supplying fruit and vegetables to many businesses and hotels. Noel also was a top class painter and decorator of whom many people had the experience of availing of his highly professional work. He also had an extremely generous streak to his nature and he was always on hand to help the needs and support local organisations in their endeavours to raise funds. His remains were removed from his residence on Monday morning to the Church of the Holy Family, Loch Gowna. Many organisations, GAA members and friends form a guard of honour on the arrival of his remains at the church. Following 12 noon Mass burial took place in Cornea Cemetery. To his loving wife Kathleen, son Noel, daughters Vanessa and Sabrina, brothers Sean and Ciaran, sisters Martina (Madden, Mulrick), Bernie and Rosaleen, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends to whom we extend our deepest sympathy. May he rest in peace.
