BItS N PIECES: Lovely photo of Conor Clancy Clondra on front of last week’s Leader reading his poem from the euro child anthology. Conor is son of Clare and Francie Clancy and nephew of the very talented singer and actress Liz Leavy. Both his mother Claire and aunt Liz teach in stone park NS. Maybe Conor will consider taking to the stage sometime in the future. Good news in the animal world, twin calves were born recently on the farm of Kevin Egan Clondra. Both mother cow and baby calves reported to be doing very well. On the work front a good news story for local Clondra based company A & J Egan who recently got the contract to assist in the restoration of a church in Kilinerin in Co Wexford. His company noted for the very specialised type of work they do have recently completed and done a fantastic job on Eddie Valentines pub in Longford Town We wish Andy Jenny and Stephen continued success in their work and hopefully more projects to follow in these recessional times.
