Memory Trail

Tang Muintir Community Council have been awarded funding to build a Digital Memory Trail of the pre-1915 historic houses and homesteads of our parish. This is a sister project to www.historicgraves.com. We are seeking assistance from our parishioners with regard to the following: 1.  Nominations of houses from this period, for inclusion in our project. 2.  Volunteers who would like to be involved. We would encourage people to come on board so that we can try and record as many stories and information on locals from this era. As time passes, much of our local heritage is being lost. This is an opportunity for us to put something in place to remember those who have gone before us. If you have an interest in local history, please give your name, contact number & email address to any member of our committee and we will contact you with further details.
