Lotto is back

Last 50\50 draw takes place on 30th August. New Lotto envelopes go on sale on Monday, 31st August. New Lotto Jackpot will commence at 1,000 euro, increasing by 100 euro each week. On the night of the Draw two envelopes will be drawn, one for 50 euro and the other 30 euro. First new draw will take place on Saturday, 5th September and each Saturday night after that. We urge you to continue your support for local lotto.


Sympathy is extended this week to Josephine Jordan and Charlie Duignan, both of Scramogue on the death of their mother, Mary Duignan, Bawn St, Strokestown.

Also sympathy to daughter Margaret USA, sons in law Tommy and Michael, daughter in law Rita, grandchildren Jennifer and Liam, sister, cousins and other extended family. May she rest in Peace.

As Mayo prepare to take on Dublin on this coming Sunday in the All Ireland Football semi-final, we urge you all to put up the Mayo colours to wish them well all the way, of course if you are a Dub living in the region we wish you well also but it would be lovely though if Mayo could get to another final.
