The local I.C.A. Group would like to thank Ann Murphy for her recent flower arranging course which took place in The Hill.It was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

The Village

In the Easter sunshine the village has come to life. The flowers are blooming, the grass is green and the fountain is flowing. The pub has opened again and two empty houses are once more occupied. Ciaran Eustace who was president of the Tidy Towns for many years has left us all a fitting memorial for many years to come with a roadside and garden ablaze with flowers.

“May he rest in peace”.

Ruby Anniversary

We extend congratulations to both Thomas and Elizabeth Clyne who celebrated their Ruby Wedding anniversary recently.

Local pub

Again, best wishes to Sile and Gary Mulvihill on the re-opening of the Local Pub. The Village came alive once again last weekend and it’s is wonderful to see the buzz back in our community once again.
