The annual Clonfin commemoration ceremony will take place on this Sunday, February 1st starting with Mass for deceased members in St. Mary’s Church in Granard at 11-30am followed by the ceremony at the site in Clonfin at 3-00pm and refreshments in McElvaney’s, Coolarty afterwards. The organizing committee are looking forward to a large crowd attending and all are welcome.

Membership for Sean Connolly’s GAA Club is now due. Cost is €30 per adult or €50 per couple. Those using the facilities who pay membership are covered by insurance in the event of an accident. Those who do not pay membership and continue to use the facilities are not covered by insurance.

Congratulations to Gerard McEvoy, Lislea and Stacey Lapteva, New Jersey USA, who were married recently in Key West Florida. They celebrated their wedding when they were home over the Christmas holidays with family and friends in Viewmount House. They have returned to Zurich where they now live. We wish them every happiness in their married life together.
