There was a deep sense of sadness in the area as word spread of the passing of Declan Killian. Declan had suffered poor health for many years but didn’t let it become who he was. When he was well, himself and his trusted dog companion could be seen driving around but definitely never breaking the speed limit. Declan was a very laid-back person and made himself at home wherever he went. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Deirdre, Rosaleen and Geraldine, brother - in - law Gerry, nephews and nieces, many cousins relatives and friends to whom we offer deepest sympathy. Declan’s funeral was on Thursday last in St Patricks Church, Killashee followed by cremation. May his soul rest in Peace.
