It was with great sadness that we learnt of the sudden death of Tony Corcoran, Castlepark. We extend our sincere sympathy to Tony’s wife Margaret, daughters Elaine & Therese, sons, Enda, Bob, Anthony, Paddy and Ciaran, daughter in-law Ciara, grandchildren Eve and Dallan, brothers Pat and Vincent, sister Mary and to his extended family and friends. Tony was always full of life and laughter and a great character, he will be sadly missed. May he rest in peace.

Well what a lovely walk we had on Sunday in the grounds of Castleforbes, a big thank you to all who joined us and a special word of thanks to Lady Georgina for allowing us access to the fantastic grounds, also thank you to Helen McCloughrey for walking with us and keeping us on the right path, and to Eamon who came to the rescue of a lady in distress. We had a truly lovely walk and I think everyone enjoyed it. Our next meeting takes place on Tuesday April 7th at 8.30pm and as this is our AGM a full attendance would be appreciated. The competition is a poster for a hen party, so ladies get those ideas on paper. Olive and Mairead are on teas so feel free to come and join us, you never know where we might end up next.
