Bornacoola GAA

Bornacoola GAA 2015 registration morning for all of our underage players takes place at the pitch in Dromod this Saturday morning at 10am to coincide with the start of U8/10/12 coaching for the year. Membership is €10 per player to a maximum cost of €20 for a family. All are welcome, boys and girls, and we look forward to seeing you all on Saturday next. In U-14s Bornacoola were defeated by Kiltubrid on Monday evening last in their opening game of the league on a 7-12 to 4-5 scoreline. Despite the margin of victory for the Kiltubrid lads, there were some excellent scores registered by Bornacoola. Hopefully they can build on this as they face Annaduff this Saturday in Dromod at 12 noon. The following Monday – March 30th – they travel to Gortletteragh for a 6pm throw-in. The Connacht Finals of Scór Sinsear take place in Tubbercurry this Saturday night; Aidan Dockery represents Bornacoola in Athriseoireacht. Best of luck Aiden. Bornacoola’s Junior team travel to Manorhamilton on Sunday morning next in Division 3 for a 12 noon throw-in against Glencar/Manorhamilton. Well done to Sean McCauley who was the latest winner in our Members draw of 2 tickets for the Leitrim game on Sunday last. He brought an excellent analyst with him as Conor was a bit tired after training, and enjoyed a free-scoring Leitrim victory on a 1-18 to 0-9 scoreline.
