Martin Cadden

Shock and sadness was cast over the area on Friday, 2nd January when news broke of the untimely death of Martin Cadden, Middletown, Loughduff in New Zealand due to a car accident. Martin was a very pleasant and friendly person and held in very high esteem by young and old. He had a great interest in machinery and farming and before leaving Ireland, always enjoyed helping his father and friends on the farm. He will be sadly missed and especially by his loving and heartbroken parents Michael and Ann, sisters Mary and Roisin, grandparents, granduncle, aunts, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends. To whom we extend our deepest sympathy. May he rest in peace.

Sympathy is extended to Mrs Josephine Sorohan, Cordonaghy, Arva on the death of her brother, Thomas Donohoe, Mullahoran Lr which occurred at Cavan General Hospital on Sunday, 4th January. Also sympathy to Thomas’s brother Anthony and sister Sr Olive. His remains were removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran on Monday evening and following funeral mass on Tuesday, burial took place in adjoining cemetery. May he rest in peace.
