The game took place on Saturday, October 25th, at Gainestown, Mullingar, and the opposition for the keenly contested encounter were An Garda Siochana. In a blue on blue encounter, the Gardai were victorius, managing to hold on their 2-1 advantage until the full time whistle. Castlepollard firefighters Derek Cheevers, Alfie Devine and Steve Owens represented the local brigade. Well done to all concerned.
