Country music & dancing Peter and Josephine McLoughlin, Mohill present a night of country music and dancing in aid of the Alzheimer’s Unit and Patients Comfort Fund in St Patrick’s Carrick on Shannon in the Landmark Hotel on Monday night April 28th. Cancer research The Annual 5k/10k May walk, run or roll in aid of Cancer Research/North West Hospice will take place on Sunday, May 11th 2014 starting from Aughnasheelin Community Centre at 2pm. Registration on the day from 1pm - €10. If you are a member of a walking/running club why not get club members to join in - you will not only support a good cause but you will also bring your friends and families together for a great fun afternoon!!

Athletic Club The annual general meeting of Ballinamore Athletic Club fixed for this (Wednesday) evening has been postponed for one week and will now take place in Ballinamore Sports Hall on Wednesday, April 30th at 9p.m. All are welcome. Club training resumes after the Easter break on Tuesday night next at 7p.m. where the emphasis will be on on preparation for the Track & Field season, commencing with the Leitrim Primary Schools Championships in Manorhamilton on Sunday, May 4th. Preparation will also be made for the various Championship and Community Games events.
