5K Fun Run/Walk

‘Work4You’ set up by Acquired Brain Injury Ireland provides a free vocational assessment service for individuals who have an acquired brain injury and would like assistance and guidance in returning to work, training or education. Friendly Phone Call Service

This Friendly Phone Call Service is a free service for older people, providing information on local activities and services as well as an opportunity for a friendly chat. Coffee Morning

A Coffee Morning will be held in Lus na Greine, Main Street, Granard on Friday, 14 February. Donations in aid of Lus na Greine Family Resource Centre. Refreshments will be served. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Clothes collection

A Clothes collection will take place on Thursday, 13 February, to help raise funds for Abbeylara National School. Unwanted Men’s/Ladies / Children Clothes, Shoes, Belts, Bags, Ties, Stuffed Toys, Linen, Mobile Phones etc. Bags to be left at School Gates before 9.30am. Tidy Towns

Abbeylara Tidy Towns are holding their AGM on Thursday, the 20 February in the Sports Centre.  We are hoping to see a good turnout on the night as we need to form a new committee in order to keep the Tidy Towns going. There is a lot going on for us this year with the return of two Cistercian Monks. So why not come along and join and maybe surprise yourself. The Bonus Ball is on sale at P. Cancer Support Centre is delighted to host an Arts and Wellbeing Midterm Camp for children & young people at their venue, Coole Road, Multyfarnham, This will be a professionally led group for children aged 6 – 12 years. Camps: Thursday 20 February. For children affected by a diagnosis. Friday 21 February. For children bereaved by cancer. Camp times each day 10.00 am. to 1 pm. No fee. Places limited.
