I would like to thank everyone who supported our quiz on Friday31st January. It was very much appreciated. Well done to our 5th and 6th class pupils who had their commitment ceremony on Sunday 2nd February. Readers choir and musicians all did very well. First confessions takes place for the 2nd class pupils on Tuesday, 25th February at 3pm in St Mary’s Church.
Is a free 12 week course available to those in receipt of disability /illness welfare payments. Participants retain there benefits during the course .

Work 4you set up by acquired brain injury Ireland provides a free vocational assessment services for individuals who have had acquired brain injury and would like assistance and guidance in returning to work, training or education. It is free to anyone with acquired brain injury and in receipt of payment from the Dept of Social Protection. If you are interested in the service or would like more information work4you are holding an information stand in Ballymahon Library on Tuesday, 18 February from 2.30 to 4pm. Local underage football club, Inny Shamrocks ,are bag packing in Buckley’s Super Valu, Mullingar on Saturday, 22nd February from 11am to 7pm. We are raising funds to buy a new football kit for the teams. There will be a 10k and a 5k road race on the 23rd February starting from Bun football pitch, you can run, walk or jog, whatever you want. All are welcome. Anymore information can be got from Bun GAA. Starts at 11am
No jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 14, 19, 21, 28. Draw winners were Declan Lennard, Tom Nulty and Maire Murphy. Sellers prize to Gregory Duffy. Jackpot next draw will be 1,700 euro. Draw takes place on the 17/02/2014 in Connaughton’s Pub.
