The Corn Mill Theatre Group will perform their final nine nights of the Devil’s Ceili as their build up to the RTÉ All-Ireland Finals in Athlone. They appear in the All-Ireland Finals on Saturday 3 May 2014, one of nine groups who will compete from the 1-9th May. Home Show Dates are as follows - Monday 14, Tuesday 15, Wednesday 16, Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23, Thursday 24, Monday 28, Tuesday 29, and Wednesday 30 April. Just a reminder to everyone that the beautiful Easter Hamper is now displayed in McCann’s Centra Supermarket and lines for €2 each can be purchased in several local business’ before Friday 11 April 2014. The draw will take place on Easter Saturday. All funds will go towards the running of the National School, so your generosity is much appreciated.
G.F.C. Lotto The draw was held on Saturday, 5 April and the numbers drawn on the night were 11, 25, 26, and 30. There was no Jackpot winner and the four winners of €50 each were Kieran Kelleher (14 Club), Josephine Maguire, Lily & Kate Tully (14 Club), and Peter Donohoe, Gortermone. Next week’s draw will be held in Charley Farrelly’s Bar on 12 April and the Jackpot will be €11,200. Those in charge on the night will be the St Joseph’s team.

The Kilmore Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from 27 May to 1 June 2014. Bookings for the Pilgrim Section are with McGinnity Travel, Cavan and for the Assisted Pilgrim Section with Rev Kevin Fay, Lavey, Co Cavan. Early booking is essential as places are limited. Tickets are on sale to support the Assisted Pilgrim Section and all support will be much appreciated.
