St. Columba’s G.F.C held their weekly lotto draw in Keogh’s on Thursday September19th. Winning numbers were 1, 12, 19, 20 with the jackpot of €3500 remaining intact. As part of their fundraising activities the local ladies football club are holding a weekly draw based on the bonus ball in the main draw of the national lottery. Sheets are on sale in local shops or are available from any club member. Match the bonus ball in Saturday’s night main draw and you will earn yourself €20. Lines are just €2. Six monthly tickets are available for €50 by contacting Marie Matthews. Your support would be very much appreciated each week. Winning number from the draw on Saturday September 14th was 23. Mullinalaghta ladies footballers are collecting Lucozade bottle caps as advertised on television. This will enable the girls to get some free gear for the club. We urge all players, families, relations and friends to support this venture. Caps can be given in at all training sessions, matches, Cloonagh PO, and to any player or committee member. However October is the deadline to participate in this project. It is important to start collecting immediately.

Mullahoran – Mullinalaghta Gun Club will hold their annual raffle in the Hideaway Bar, Cloncovid on Friday 1st November. First prize is a Plasma Widescreen TV.
