Tidiness and Litter Control and General Impression received recognition it stated “Litter control was to a very high standard on adjudication day, well done! The village is very tidy in appearance. Tang does incredible things and is an example to all the smaller rural centres. Your drive and creativity leap from the pages of your application form and are manifest in the wonderful progress you have made in recent years. Keep up the good work!” This is a credit to our Tidy Towns Committee, to the lads on our local FAS & RSS Schemes and ICA ladies who helped to enhance our village throughout the year with flower boxes, shrub beds, etc. The Committee have developed a 3 year Village Plan which contains many ideas to improve our village and we would welcome new members who have a keen interest in the above headings which as you can see is not all about hedging and litter, there are many projects that our parishioners might find interesting so we invite you to get involved. Anyone interested (male/female), please contact Michael Conlon for further information.
