“Life is not what it is supposed to be, it is what it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference”… Virginia Satir. Problems crop up in life that may leave people feeling unable to manage. Trying to cope with this stress on our own can be tiresome. People often find that they just need someone to listen, without making judgments or giving advice. Many people have found counselling to be helpful and rewarding. At the Bridgeways Family Resource Centre in Ballymahon , the Counsellor does not criticize or judge. She provides a safe and confidential space for you to explore, discover and clarify ways of living more agreeable. This is a low cost Counselling Service, now available costing €10 per session. Tragic death of Mrs Olive May Flower
It was with deep regret that we learnt of the sad death following a fire at her home on Wednesday last of 95 year old Olive May Flower (nee Ronaldson), Barry, Kenagh, mother of Olive and William. May was a lovely lady who was a very popular member of the local farming community, a hard-working woman all her life. A regular visitor to Ballymahon down the years, May was a very kind and generous neighbour, always willing to help out in whatever way she could. A very large number of people attended her Funeral Service on Sunday afternoon at Tashinney Church following which she was laid to rest at St. Munis’ Graveyard, Forgney. We offer our deepest sympathy at this sad time to May’s son William, daughter Olive, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
