Clonguish Community Games Committee would like to thank all those who supported our recent coffee morning in the Parish Hall. It was a great success with a sum of €504.20 raised. Many thanks to both Smiths and Bells who sponsored some goodies. Congratulations to our Under 10 and Under 12 draughts teams who participated in the Community Games draughts competitions held recently. Our Under 10 team were narrowly defeated by a very strong Ballymahon/Forgney side, with the last match being the decider. Our Under 12 team got to the County Final last Saturday and were beaten by the narrowest of margins. Again only one match between the two teams. However, a silver County medal is a wonderful achievement. Well done to all.
