Proceeds from the recent tractor run organized by Mullinalaghta Vintage Club were presented to Sheena Dalton from Ronald McDonald House in the Anglers Rest on Saturday night last. With the generosity of all concerned €5,200 was raised for this worthy cause. Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation, caring and supportive environment for families whose children are seriously ill and are hospitalized or undergoing medical treatment at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. As government aid is not provided for this worthwhile service it relies on voluntary donations. Appreciation is extended to Sean and Marie Mulligan for the use of their premises and to Frankie Mulligan for the sponsorship of the food on the day of the tractor run. We compliment all involved with the vintage club for their support for this worthy cause.
