G.A.A/Parish Lotto

The lotto completed its 18th year in operation on 31/12/13. The money collected for 2013 was distributed as follows - Annaduff/Drumsna Catholic Church 5,000 euro, St. Anne’s Church of Ireland 1,000 euro, Annaduff G.A.A : 5,000 euro. Jackpot retained 6,100 euro.

Local Elections candidates

At the Fine Gael Convention held in Mohill on Friday night the following candidates were nominated to contest the Local Elections in the Carrick Area: Cllr. John Ward, Annaduff; Cllr. Gerry Reynolds, Carrick; Cllr. Thomas Mulligan, Mohill.

At the draw held in McLoughlin’s of Drumsna, there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 3, 6, 9, 19. The 50 euro winner was Bernadette Ward, Gortinty. The 25 euro winners were Keith Faughnan, Finnelaughta; Teresa Duignan, Gortinee; Cathal Cox, Antfield; Mary McCauley, Drumard. The next draw takes place in Cox’s Steakhouse Bar, Dromod on Sunday night next with a Jackpot of 6,200 euro.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Congratulations to Chris and Seamus Murray, Quay Street, Drumsna who recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. They were married in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumsna on January 21st 1964. We wish them many years of happiness.
