LEAGUE: Arva had Maghera as visitors to Michael Cully Park on Sunday last and emerged with a very emphatic victory on a scoreline Arva 3-16 Maghera 0-4. Both Goalkeepers were busy with Arva Debutant Sean Donnelly very safe when called into action. John Mc Connell had more to contend with and proved himself on a number of occasions while he could not be faulted for the three goals conceded. Conal Sheridan was in top form for the home side and finished up top scorer with 0-8 points, Kevin Bouchier was close behind with 1-3, Gavin Doyle 1-1, Brian Ellis 0-3, Raymond Daly 1-0, James Morris and Thomas Brady 0-1 each while for the visitors Adam O Reilly scored 0-2, Paddy Tobin and Shane Mc Hugh 0-1 each. Arva team – Sean Donnelly, Shane Finnegan, Seam Mc Manus, Stephen Ellis, Jonathan Mc Cabe, Thomas Brady, Ciaran Brady, Brian Fitzpatrick, James Morris, Cian Sheridan, Conal Sheridan, Ciaran Cooney, Gavin Doyle, Kevin Bouchier, Brian Ellis. On this Saturday evening at 5.30 pm in Rathluden (just past Tullyvin) Arva will take on table toppers Kill in what should be a very exciting encounter.
