Important Scor meeting on Thursday night 12th at 7.30 in Pearse Park, Longford Aras Ui Bhriain at 7.30. Main purpose is to discuss major proposed changes to Scor on a local and national level. please attend or send a club representative. From chairperson Pauline Flood and  Coiste Scor Longfort.

Edgeworthstown C.C.E. Saturday Music club Open Day on Saturday 14th September from 11 am until 2pm. in The Green. Please come along and talk to our tutors and see if you have a flair for playing a musical instrument. Weight Watchers

Weight Watchers in The Green, Edgeworthstown every Thursday evening at 8.00 p.m. New members welcome.


Lines are still on sale for the All-Ireland Football tickets which takes place on the 19th. There was no jackpot winner in the last Lotto draw. Numbers drawn were 2, 8, 18, 19. Twenty-five euro winner were Aidan Hagan, Noeleen Cahill, Ardagh; Niall Donlon and Paula and Daniel Donohoe.


Computer Literacy classes will be starting soon in The Old Schoolhouse, Ballymahon Road, Edgeworthstown. Courses are part time for adults and will lead to a FETAC Accreditation under the Back to Education Initiative. The courses are free to those who are on Social Welfare recipients and medical card holders.

Sean Nós Dancing
