Mohill

PATRICK BREHONY: There was deep regret here in Mohill on hearing of the death of Patrick Brehony St Patricks View Mohill who died last week. Paddy as he was most affectionately known was a very kind unassuming gentleman, a loving brother uncle and faithful friend. Born in Drumshanbo he worked in Scotland and London before returning to Mohill with his late mother in 1980s RIP. He loved gardening and fishing and will be fondly remembered for his quick wit and his lovely stories from yesteryear. Patrick had been ill for the past year and had been in the tender care of the doctors nurses staff at Lough Errill Nursing home. His requiem Mass took place in St Patricks Church Mohill on Monday morning last at which the celebrant Fr Pat Murphy PP paid tribute to Pat and sympathised with his sister brother nephews nieces cousins and family circle to whom we also offer our deepest sympathy. The beautiful music added to the solemnity of this sad occasion. May he rest in peace.
