THOMAS JOSEPH FEENEY: The death of Tommy Joe Feeney Meelra Dromod on the 22nd September 2012 has caused widespread regret in the community. He died at home in the wonderful care of his wife Margret and family.Tommy Joe was a great family man and most obliging neighour. He could turn his hand to anything. He was also known as the Bard of Bornacoola. A true gentleman whom it was always a a pleasure to meet, sadly in the last few years his eyesight failed but Tommy Joe still had that lovely smile and firm handshake. The very large attendance at his removal to St Micheals Church Bornacoola and again at his requiem Mass was indeed testimony to the high esteem in which he and his wife and family were held by the whole community and to whom we offer our deepest sympathy. May his dear soul rest in peace.
