Jack Dalton, Ardagh
The death has occurred of Jack Dalton of Druming, Ardagh, Longford. Peacefully, in his 89th year, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Padre Pio Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Longford. Sadly missed by his devoted wife Mena, daughters, Teresa Victory, Ann McGuinness, Frances Ganly and Rose Campbell, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, neighbours, relatives, and a large circle of friends.
Reposing in the Hospital Chapel from 4pm on Monday with prayers at 5.30pm followed by Removal to St. Anne’s Church, Ballycloughan arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ardagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Joseph’s Patient Comfort Fund, care of Paschal Lyons, Funeral Director, Ardagh.
Margaret McWeeney, Longford Town
The death has taken place of Margaret McWeeney (nee Farrell) of Longford Town, Longford. Sadly missed by her loving family husband Cathal, sons Padraic and Mel, daughter Margaret-Mary (Lieb), daughter-in-law Janet, son-in-law Jonathan, grandchildren, brothers Danny and Seamus, sister Bridie, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, on Monday from 5pm until 7pm, with prayers in the funeral home at 6pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Hospital Chapel, Longford. Interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. House private, please.
