Community Games: The annual Community Games Sports Day is to take place in Tommy Gaffney’s field on the Kon Tiki road on Saturday 27th April at 11.30a.m. All children will be registered and there is a fee of 3euro per child. All are welcome, see you there! There is also a Church Gate collection on the same weekend to help raise funds for the Community Games, taking place at Saturday night mass in Slatta, the 27th and on Sunday 28th April in Rooskey and Kilglass. All support is greatly appreciated.

Hospice group: Rooskey Hospice Support Group wish to inform parishioners that Eileen Deehan, Slatta and her 3 sisters together with a few people from the parish are taking part in the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin on Monday June 3rd.
