SYMPATHY: It was with deep regret that we learned of the death of John (Gunner) Brady, Drumncorr Loughduff which occurred at Cavan General Hospital on Monday 28 January. John was a very friendly and ambitious person which contributed to his rapid success in his insurance business. He had a great passion for sport and especially football and one of his great days was when he captained Mullahoran to win the senior championship in 1963. On his retirement John and his wife Nancy enjoyed many trips away to the Hooley in the Sun with Declan Nerney and many more country music stars. John will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and especially by his loving wife Nancy, sons Danny Ciaran and Sean, daughters Martina Colette Caroline and Anne Marie , brothers Danny Tony and Fr Jim, sisters Molly Rose Maggie and Teresa and members of his extended family circle to whom we extended our deepest sympathy. His remains were removed from his residence on Tuesday evening to St Josephs church Loughduff and following funeral mass on Wednesday burial took place in local cemetery. May he rest in peace.
