Talk: Newtowncashel Parents Association are organising a talk on “The Transition from National school to Secondary School” on Thursday May 24th in the Hill Community Centre at 8pm. The talk is aimed at parents of children in 5th class 6th class and 1st year students. Parents from neighbouring schools are most welcome. Admission is free.

COMMUNITY GAMES: Best wishes to our two local artists Mayodele Rotimi -Ogundele (under 14) and Cian Clancy (under 10) who are representing Longford in the National Finals of the Community Games art competition. The competition will take place in Athlone this weekend.

THANK YOU: Thank you to all who collected Tesco vouchers for the club. Anyone who has vouchers still please give them to a committee member as soon as possible.

ENROLMENT: Cloontagh National School parents wishing to enrol their child in Cloontagh national school for September 2012 are invited to pick up an enrolment pack at the school office.

CONGRATULATIONS: to Luke Gorman and Enda McKiernan Clondra who celebrated their 21st birthday at a double party in McPartlands Clondra last weekend. Luke and Enda were joined by Emily and friends to mark their special occasion.

SUMMER CAMP: will take place from Monday July 16th to Friday July 20th at Stonepark National School. It will cater for children currently attending primary school.
