Mohill

SUSAN COMISKEY: It was with the deepest regret we learned of the death of Susan Comiskey Green Road Mohill who died surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the doctors nurses and staff at Sligo General Hospital on the 10th August 2011. Susan was dearly loved wife of Michael. A Derry native whom we have all admired and respected since she came to Mohill. She was a most devoted wife, mother, granny, sister and loyal friend and despite her long illness which she bore with fortitude she attended to everyone, played bingo , was a eucharistic minister and a very active member of the community who will be very sadly missed. She died as she lived with dignity. The very large attendance at her removal to St Patrick’s church and again at her concelebrated mass at which her brother in law Rev Cathal Comiskey was chief celebrant was indeed testimony to the very high esteem in which she and her dear husband and family were held by the community. Our sympathies are with her dear husband Michael, daughter Catherine, son in law, grandsons brother sister brothers in law, sisters in law and their extended families. May her gentle souls rest in peace.
