Death: The death occurred recently of Catherine (Kitty) Murphy, nee Considine, Skeagh, Kilmore, and formerly Co Clare.  Kitty’s Funeral Mass took place to Dangan Church followed by burial in Kilmore cemetery.

Deepest sympathy is extended to  her husband JJ; daughters, Ann Marie, Mary, Eileen and Lizzie; sons in law, Bernard, Tommy, and David; much loved grandchildren, her extended family in Clare, and sister in law, Ursula Sherwin, Mullagh.  May she Rest in Peace.


Charity Night: A charity night in aid of Lourdes Invalid Fund takes place in Costello’s Bar, Tarmonbarry on Saturday July 21st.  Music by One plus One.  Admission optional.

Death: Please pray for the repose of the soul of Rose Padian, Scramogue, whose Funeral Mass took place to Scamogue on Tuesday.  Deepest sympathy is extended to her son James, extended family, neighbours and friends.  May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
 

Cemetery Sunday: Kilglass Cemetery Mass will take place on Sunday August 5th at 10.30am, while Cemetery Sunday takes place in Scramogue Cemetery on Sunday 29th of July at 11.30am.
 

Community Games: We wish the best of luck to all the children taking part in the Community Games tag rugby in Castlebar this coming weekend. Also a special thanks to their under 11’s coach who took the team to the final and also best wishes are extended to the under 14’s who are in the semi-final.  Well done to all involved.
 

Lotto: Kilglass Gaels lotto results indicate that there was no jackpot winner this week. There were four three number winners including Ewan McGarvey, Lisa Faulkner, Rosie Dowd and Rachel Whelan.
