Thanks to all who organised and supported the Bornacoola GAA 5k walk, sports and family fun day on Sunday last in the GAA grounds in Dromod. Weather was a little improved last week with a lot of silage harvested. Dancing continues at Cox’s Dromod every Sunday night. For all you fitness fanatics ‘Body Attack’ continues every Thursday night in Bornacoola Community Centre. Keep fit Irish dancing every Wednesday in Rooskey Community Centre. All welcome. Leitrim senior championship was put back for at least a week after Leitrim’s win last Saturday. Lots of holidaymakers in our locality despite the inclement weather with the Shannon traffic very busy!
