LOTTO - The local Lotto draw was held on Sunday night last. Numbers drawn were 3, 17, 20, 23. There was no jackpot winner. 40 euro went to Ger Dennigan.

20 euro each went to Brian Kavanagh, Conor Farrell, John and Enda Kilbride. The next draw will take place will take place in the Chestnut Tree Killashee on Sunday 10th April for a jackpot of 13,740 euro. Team B will be on duty. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Any children who are interested in swimming must contact Barry 087 7963182 this week. Competitions for boys and girls are from U8 to U16.The U15 girls soccer team headed off to Carlow on Sunday morning last to play the Leinster semi final against Offaly. The Killashee squad were victorious defeating Offaly by 3 goals to 1 goal. In the final the girls took on the Kildare representatives and the match ended with both teams level, again after extra time the teams were level and remained so after penalties. In the end the result was decided by sudden death and unfortunately the Killashee girls lost out.

The team was Emer Casey ,Lisa Nolan Allanah Dolan, Kyana Lee, Aoife Magan & Ruth Kavanagh. The girls put in a great effort throughout the whole competition each and every one of them and well done to their manager Colman Lee. The community games annual Easter egg draw will be held on Tuesday 19th April. Tickets are available from all the children of the parish and cost 2 euro per line. Your support is greatly appreciated.

UNDERAGE FOOTBALL

An area league with teams from Cloontagh , Killashee and Clondra will be held on Sunday morning next 3rd April in Killashee at 11.30am. All parents are invited to come along and enjoy the games. There will be a special competition for children 6-8 years old. Refreshments will be served.
