U-14 League - A cohesive Leitrim Gaels team proved too strong for Garadice Gaels in their first Round U-14 League game in Aughawillan on last Saturday morning.

They scored freely and with scores from David Bruen, Narda Patrasca, Stephen McDermott, Shane Chandler and Shane Rodgerson were well on their way to victory at half time. Garadice having enjoyed a fair share of possession should have been closer at the interval, but they lacked the finishing skills of the opposition. To compound their problems they lost one of their best performers Fergal McTague with a facial injury late in the half. The team was as follows: Fergal Murray, Donal McCabe (pt.), Fergal Mc Tague, Peter Prior, Ronan Maxwell, Dylan Mimna (3pts), Pierce Dolan, Stephen Meissner, Jake Bentley, Jason Prior, Michael Prior and Maxwell. Sub used: Michael O’Haire.
