After a very well attended AGM the following new committee has been elected: chairman Johnny Flynn; vice chair Daren Donoghue ; secretary Bernie Daly; assistant secretary Patricia Keenan; treasurer Margaret Brennan; assistant treasurer Florrie Geelan; FAS Liaison Officer Eamon Quinn; PRO Enda O’Brien. The new committee are looking forward to an active year ahead with lots of new plans and are hoping that here will be volunteers from each area of the village to help with regular clear ups in advance of the Tidy Towns Competition Adjudication in the early summer. The 12 new area signs have been very well received and we hope to build on the success of this project. If you are willing to get involved please contact any member of the committee for details of the next meeting and clean up events.
