TIDY TOWNS - There are new trees set around the town. National Spring cleaning week is approaching in April, so new volunteers are welcome. There is also a new website in the pipeline as we speak.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the nephews, nieces, family and friends of the Late Bridgie Flood of Pound Street, Edgeworthstown, who passed away on Thursday last at Mullingar hospital. Bridgie was one of the town’s oldest citizens, reaching the ripe old age of 98. She was a much loved lady by all who knew her. Ay she rest in peace. Also deepest sympathy to the husband and sons of the late Anna Singh, nee Hagan, of Colloge who passed away on Saturday last. May she rest in peace.
