Well done to the Cashel GAA Senior Football Team on their fine victory over Sean Connolly’s in the first round of Division 1 of the League at Páirc Naomh Ciaráin last Saturday.
The table quiz which was held last Friday March 25th in Fallon’s in aid of AWARE was a tremendous success. Organiser Declan Gilmore wishes to say a big thank you to all who participated, to Quizmaster John Kenny, to Dermot Nolan, Mary and Joe Fallon, and to those who donated spot prizes. Councillor Martin Mulleady spoke eloquently about AWARE and special thanks to him for attending.
Badminton has resumed in “The Hill” on Thursday nights at 9.00pm. Members are invited to retrieve their racquets and take to the court! New players are welcome!

Financial Acknowledgements for the year 2010 were dispatched on Thursday last week. Thanks to the members of the Parish Pastoral Council who handled the process. Thanks also to the people who logged the date. Tax relief forms for 2010 and explanatory letter are being delivered with the acknowledgements. Their early return to the Parochial House is requested please. Co-operation with this beneficial scheme is much valued.
Well done to Boys Under-16 Table Tennis team who beat Westmeath in the semi-finals but lost out to Dublin in the final. The team was Corie Carberry, Conor Flood, Daire Flood and Shane Bannon and they are now proud owners of Leinster silver medals. Congratulations lads!

World Missions Ireland wishes to thank all who contributed to the Mission Sunday collection. The total for the Diocese was €41, 266.00 of which Cashel contributed €535.00.
