Whist Drive: There will be no whist drive on the Thursday 4th August due to the Community Centre repairs

St Patrick’s Church: Mass daily 9am and also Friday 8pm. Confessions for First Friday on Thursday at 7.30pm and also on Sat 12 noon – 12.30pm. Blessing of the Graves Sunday 14th at 2.30pm followed by mass. Each family bring a small bottle of Holy Water. I had a letter from Fr Frank Quinn the Rosminian priest who spoke here recently. He expressed his gratitude to you for your generous donation of €2,888. Collectors for weekends 6th, 7th Aug and 13th, 14th Aug. John McWeeney & Paudge Keenaghan & Paddy O’Connor & Michael Duignan. Envelopes for the month of August are due next weekend.Trocaire has an appeal for the famine in the ‘Horn of Africa’ where millions are starving. If you wish to donate, put your contribution in an envelope and write ‘Trocaire’ on it or some such word. Bring it in next weekend and we will send it to Trocaire.
